Are you looking for a treasured gift for yourself or someone who loves swimming, sailing, or being on the shore?

Here is the perfect catch; cast glass jewellery with a coastal connection.

This elusive blue cast glass chain with five links(!!) is reminiscent of weathered sea glass, tethered rope and rusty chain found along the UK coastline. They are symbolic of the mooring connection between the land and sea. The chain shapes are hand-modelled in wax first and retain the maker’s marks on the surface from the process of glass casting making them very tactile. Using wonderfully soft Eco-friendly rope is a nautical nod to Plymouth's rope-making history. The 100% recycled cotton rope has been sewn and whipped together by hand with sailors whipping twine and topped with wool. Created in Plymouth, Devon UK, this jewellery is individually made and will never be mass-produced.

With five interlinked chains this nautical necklace is heavier than most. To wear hold onto the glass and place overhead one rope at a time. It has a short a 8inch (20cm) drop.
